SERENITY AT SEA can accommodate both attended or unattended scatterings.

• Attended Ceremony:
• Family and/or friends accompany the remains aboard the vessel to the scattering site.
• Our main boat can take 6 passengers and is berthed at "The Dana" resort in Mission Bay San Diego.
• We have many boats available for larger size parties.
• Time from departure to return to the dock, lasts usually about one hour, including the memorial ceremony.
• The trip is for you and can be customized as you would like.
• I prepare a basket for the remains and cover them with flowers (so the wind doesn't blow them all over). After the ashes are lowered by a line, the flowers then float on the water giving the ceremony a beautiful effect.
• The exact coordinates of the scattering site will be provided in case a revisit is desired.
• All inclusive price for a local scattering of 6 passengers or less is $415.

Additional Destinations: We have a range of 125 nautical miles. We can scatter ashes at La Jolla Cove, Oceanside, Del Mar Race track, or any other requested site on the pacific coast. Additional charges will apply, please call for price.

• Unattended Scattering :
• The Captain and crew will conduct the scattering alone in a dignified and respectful manner.
• You receive the time, date and GPS location of the scattering.
• No family or friends may accompany the remains aboard the vessel to the dispersal site.
• All inclusive price is $95.
• If requested we can send a short video by e-mail to you showing the actual scattering with footage of the container being opened and ashes scattered. (no charge).

• Video Taped: All ceremonies may be recorded for all time by video taping.
• The taping is done in a professionally with an introduction, step by step narration of the scattering and laying of flowers.
• The tape is accompanied by melodious music that brings the complete experience of the scattering to the viewer.
• Additional charge $150.

Cut Flowers and Flower Wreaths: These adornments may be added at your discretion, Prices vary, depending upon the arrangement desired.

Flowers add a whole new beautiful dimension to the ceremony by extending the length of time of the ceremony. Rose petals and other cut flowers are best scattered with the ashes, this provides are beautiful backdrop for ash scattering.

A really nice addition to the ceremony is a floating urn. The urn will float about 3-5 minutes before settling slowly beneath the waves.

Revisit Dispersal Site: You may revisit the exact site of original ash dispersal by providing the Captain the coordinates of the disposition site. All inclusive price is $350.

Reservations: Call (619) 285-5555 to discuss available dates and make reservations. Scatterings can take place at any time. Although the "morning calm" is preferred.

Payment: Payment by cash, money order, certified check, Visa or Master card and is expected when the reservation is made.
